About 25 km beyond Yumthang Valley, Zero Point marks the end of motorable roads in the region. This high-altitude destination offers stunning views of the Kanchenjunga range and vast snowfields. In winter, the area turns into a snowy paradise ideal for photography and playful snow activities. A special permit is required to visit, and access is restricted to Indian nationals only.

Bagdogra Airport: Around 122 km from Gangtok
Pakyong Airport: About 28 km from Gangtok. From Gangtok, travellers continue by road to Lachung and then to Yumthang Valley.
New Jalpaiguri Railway Station is the nearest major railhead, about 114 km from Gangtok.
From NJP, taxis and shared vehicles are available to reach North Sikkim.
