Tulip Garden

Tulip Garden

Nestled at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range with Dal Lake glistening nearby, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar is the most extensive tulip garden in Asia. Spread across a vast terraced landscape of over 30 hectares, the garden bursts into life every spring, showcasing over 60 varieties of tulips along with daffodils, hyacinths, ranunculi, muscaria, roses, and iris.

Originally known as Siraj Bagh, this garden was inaugurated in 2007 to promote floriculture and boost Kashmir tourism. Today, it is one of the most sought-after attractions in Srinagar, especially during the annual Tulip Festival, when millions of tulips bloom in vibrant shades of red, yellow, pink, orange, and purple.

For nature lovers, culture enthusiasts, and photography buffs, this garden is nothing short of a paradise.
