Aru Valley is located about 13 km from Pahalgam and can be reached in roughly 20–25 minutes by road. You can hire a taxi from Pahalgam to reach the valley via the NH501 route. Note that only local taxis are allowed inside Aru, so visitors need to switch vehicles in Pahalgam.
